Repeater stations extended the distance and coverage of a radio signal. Predominantly repeater installations are located in high areas like mountains or tall buildings.
This ensures that the signal to the repeater is received and transmitted as best as possible.
The below map shows every repeater currently licensed to operate within the 10m Band in Australia.
Repeater input frequencies are 29.5200 MHz, 29.5400 MHz, 29.5600MHz and 29.5800 MHz. The repeater offset is -100 KHz from the output frequency.
Although a license is issued for a particular repeater some repeaters may not be operating due to maintenance or any other number of issues.
